We are excited to announce our Term 1, 2019 Sewing Competition – Design with Denim!
This term we’re running a sewing competition for our students by challenging them to make and design something with denim!
We have also opened this up to the wider sewing community (non-current students & all sewers around the globe! So please share this post with other sewers too).
All you need to do is sew something with denim, post a photo/s of it on Facebook, tell us your story and inspiration behind your design and tag Maree Pigdon to go in the running.
The current adult student 1st prize is a one-on-one 2hr sewing lesson with Maree Pigdon at Rosewood Cottage, for current kids booked into term 1, is a free class in our Easter School Holiday Program and for the wider sewing community (non-current students)?? the first prize is our Zero To Sewing online course.
So sewing enthusiasts start sewing your denim project!
Your entry can be part or fully made of denim fabric or chambray. Assessment criteria will be across all aspects of sewing and design, from quality of stitching, design, fit, elegance or quirky, hand and/or machine sewing and we’ll take into account your story too!
