Maree's Sewing School is in a country style setting, the sewing studio has natural light, an extremely spacious sewing area, sewing machines and overlockers are provided for your use, lovely fabrics to tempt you, haberdashery, inspiring displays, and dining and kitchen facilities all set amongst to the beautiful expanse of Maree's Rose Garden.
The Maree Pigdon Sewing School is a relaxing yet inspiring and fun place for creative people or group of people to come and learn how to sew, meet new friends, escape from everyday life and fulfil their creative desires.

Monday classes 9.30am to 12 noon; 1pm to 3.30pm and 7pm to 9.30pm

Tuesday classes 9.30am to 3.30pm and 7pm to 9.30pm

Thursday classes 9.30am to 12 noon; 1pm to 3.30pm and 7pm to 9.30pm

Friday classes 9.30am to 12 noon and 7pm to 9.30pm

BEGINNER QUILTING CLASS

A fantastic class to make your first quilt! You will learn:

  • The simple 9 patch piecing process
  • Machine applique, hand applique & curves
  • How to use rulers & cutters
  • How to cut fabric for quilting
  • How to piece your fabrics together
  • How to put blocks together to for the block design
  • Sashing & corner stones
  • How to apply a boarder to finish your quilt

Our quilting class is perfect for you if you have basic sewing skills (you know how to use your sewing machine and sew basic stitching) and you would love to try something new by making your first quilt.
