Dear Maree
Sorry this is late, but Happy 60th and they certainly gave you a lovely treat (for a lovely lady) at Truffleduck. What nicer way to say a thankyou and lovely for you to be with like-minded folks. Lovely your daughter made the trip from London (a long tiresome trip) (I know I've done it, just once).
Thankyou for the video on your beautiful jacket.
Hope you have many more Happy Birthdays.
Marg Modra
P.S. Loved the 2 "older" ladies in photo 21 -lady in silver and silver and black jacket, and photo 32 - the lady in lavender.

Hi Helen,

Thank you for your comment! I'm so pleased to hear you are inspired to make a more feminine style jacket. A fitted jacket is a fantastic item to add to your wardrobe.

Great to hear that you have enjoyed my 'Online Designer T-Shirt' sewing course. Feel free to send me a picture of your finished top/s I would love to see them and post them on my blog to share with others too!

Happy Sewing,
Maree

Hi Maree, love your jacket!! I am a fan of red, and am really interested in your idea of using the silk over the taffeta. I have recently read your article about a jacket you made for a wedding in Queensland in the "Stitches" magazine. I am now inspired to give it a go to make a jacket. I have some blazer styles, but would like something a bit more feminine. Thank you for your ideas and information.
Have enjoyed your lessons on making different tops from a basic t-shirt - it has given me new confidence in my sewing.
Thank you.

Hi Maree, the colour of the jacket really suits you and it's very flattering and so unique that I bet you'd get lots of comments. I hope one day to know enough to add detailing to a pattern. First I have to learn to sew! (and I'm hoping you can help there)
