Sewing Pattern Review Butterick 4386

One of my student’s Anna was invited to a wedding and wanted to make a beautiful new dress for the occasion.

She purchased a gorgeous piece of lace and we transformed a simple Butterick dress pattern B4386 into a designer after five!

What I loved most about this dress was playing with the pieces of lace to get just the right look we were after.

Watch today’s video below where I share with you details about the pattern, fabric chosen and the sewing features!

P.S. Make sure you watch to the end where you will see my special sewing helper!

Have you made this pattern or have been inspired to try it yourself? We would love to hear your comments below!

    Hi Julie,

Thank you so much for your kind comments. We always strive to create valuable sewing videos to share so we are glad you enjoyed this pattern review.

I would love to meet with you one day as well. You are very welcome to visit me here in Geelong VIC and if I’m ever your way in WA I will be in touch.

Just to note I started out my sewing school in my back garage 35 years ago and developed from there so good luck in working towards your dream sewing studio too!

I certainly love my Rosewood Cottage it’s a delight to be in and welcome all our wonderful students.

Thanks again for your comment and I look forward to hearing from you again.

    Happy sewing,
    Maree

    Hi Maree,
I love your short sewing movies. They are to the point, all the right info and you speak clearly and it is very professional. I have seen many over the internet and I have been very disappointed with many I have veiwed and paid for. I run sewing classes here in Bunbury at Stirling Street Arts. I envy your beautiful studio. It is a dream of mine to have something similar here in WA. Meanwhile I am using the facility I have available. I love how you talk the same language as me. I would love for us to meet one day and have a chat.
